This site has been created to reflect my CRA-W Canadian Distributed Mentor Project (CDMP) experience. CDMP is a program that matches female undergraduate students with female professors, in the field of computer science and computer engineering, for summer research and mentoring. Each of the 10 recipients of a CDMP award is granted $3,500 to augment a $4,500 NSERC Undergraduate Summer Research Grant. Additionally, each mentor is awarded $1,000.
During the months of May to August 2006, I will be conducting research in the field of Bioinformatics in Dr. Janice Glasgow's laboratory at the School of Computing, Queen's University.
