My Project

There are two main aspects to my summer project, an academic side and an industry side. On the academic side I'm going to be working with Eclipse and XDE and writing tutorials for the Software Engineering class next fall. I'm also going to be doing research to supplement the industry side. On the industry side I'm going to be working with Nortel, out in Research Triangle Park. I'm going in 2 days a week to do research with their Verification Engineers.

• Work on Tutorials for Eclipse and Rational XDE. The tutorials that need to be created are as follows:
• Introduction to Eclipse and Rational XDE
• Class Diagrams
• Sequence Diagrams
• State Diagrams
• Use Case Diagrams
• Software Metrics
• JUnit
• FIT
• Nortel:
• Help automate results collection and insertion into the database. These results will be used in a later study on reliability.
• Test and select a GUI testing tool for automated GUI testing.
