Vital Stats

So my full name is Kayre Michelle Hylton
I turned 22 years old in June
I was born and grew up in Kingston, Jamaica. I'm also half Bahamian
I live (when I'm not at school) with my family - my older brother Kevin and my parents

School

I just graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2005 with a BS in Computer Science
On paper, my main specialization was Intelligent systems. But I like to consider it was Usability
I also got a certificate in Social/Personality Psychology
At Tech I was involved with (roughly in order of coolness ;-)) Basketball SWARM, Caribbean Students Association (Treasurer), Mobilizing Opportunities for Volunteer Experience (Tutor and volunteer), Residence Hall Association (Voting Rep), Women@CC, Minorities in Computer Science and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars

I'm planning to start at Carnegie Mellon University in August 2005 where I'll pursue my Masters in Human Computer Interaction
If I ever actually get a break from work, I might get involved there

Important people

My family of course. They are always there for me

Me and my wonderful boyfriend Jacob. He has put up with my craziness for 9+ months

TeamX - Akshai, Andrew, Me and Jake. My project team for some Computer Science classes. These are the people who made me love CS and have the confidence to keep doing what I'm doing =)

B WILD AND RAM EM! - Me, Michelle and Emily. These girls made Tech basketball even better than it already is

Quad Squad - Althea, Gail, Ayinka and me. We go waaaaaay back.

TGC - Yannic, Nadia and me. Can't forget my other girls from back home
