My name is Elyse Kelly. I am currently attending the University of Virginia where I am majoring in architecture, with possible minors in art and computer science. I will be returning to the amazing town of Charlottesville as a second year this upcoming semester.

I have lived in Pittsburgh, PA for the majority of my life. Therefore mentoring at Carnegie Mellon University was not only an amazing opportunity to expand my knowledge of the computer graphics field, but also allows me to remain living at home where I'm able to spend time with my family after work.

At Carnegie Mellon I'm working primarily in the motion capture lab which is a part of the Robotics Institute at the University. There I am running numerous general subjects through basic tests, modeling and manipulating 3D characters in Maya and then apply the motion capture data to those characters.

When I’m not at work I enjoy “relaxing” on the golf course with my dad, tap dancing my little heart out (to the increased annoyance of all those around me), having movie marathons with my sister, spending time with family and “eating Pittsburgh” with old friends.
