TITLE: Analysis of Human Motion Patterns
GOALS:

1. Understand the data [motion capture; ASF/AMC format] and write tools that help examine that data [e.g., elbow angle vs t]

2. Understand the problem [to identify & extract patterns]

3. Understand the existing approach [joint graphs, static Bayes nets] and write tools that help examine those data structures

4. Assemble all the analysis tools into a GUI

5. Understand the existing search algorithm and improve that approach [e.g., beam the search]

SKILLS:

Python, svn, motion capture, ASF/AMC, directed graphs, probability & statistics, search, GUIs, data analysis, vi, and possibly Fathom and/or Tinkerplots.
