CANADIAN DISTRIBUTED MENTOR PROJECT (SUMMER 2005)

YING CHEN

HOME

I am Ying Chen, an undergraduate student in Computer Science, University of Windsor. I have enjoyed two years of study in computer science so far, and expect to get the degree of B.C.S. Honours (Computer Science Co-op) in Winter 2007. I can be reached at chen13r@uwindsor.ca .

My mentor is Dr. Arunita Jaekel, an Associate Professor in Computer Science, University of Windsor. Her main research areas include Optical Communications, and Fault Tolerant Topology Design. I had been worked under Dr. Jaekel's supervision as a Work-Study Network Simulation Assistant for two semesters, and learned a lot from her.

I am very happy to be selected to participate in the CRA-W's Canadian Distributed Mentor Project . I believe that I will have a very interesting summer.
