I am Ying Chen, an undergraduate student in Computer
Science, University
of Windsor. I have enjoyed two years of study in computer science
so far, and expect to get the degree of B.C.S. Honours (Computer Science

My mentor is Dr.
Arunita Jaekel, an Associate Professor in Computer Science, University
of Windsor. Her main research areas include Optical Communications,
and Fault Tolerant Topology Design. I had been worked under Dr. Jaekel's
supervision as a Work-Study Network Simulation Assistant for two semesters,
and learned a lot from her.
I am very happy to be selected to participate in the
CRA-W's
Canadian Distributed Mentor Project . I believe that I will have
a very interesting summer.
