Welcome!

In the summer of 2008 I will be participating in the Canadian Distributed Mentor Project. It is a program which matches female undergraduate students with female professors to complete an NSERC Undergraduate Summer Research Award (USRA).

The goal of the CDMP is to encourage girls in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields to consider graduate school. More information on CDMP can be found here.

Last summer I completed a NSERC USRA under Dr. Ying Zou. I am thrilled to once again be working with her this summer as an NSERC USRA student, along with additional support from CDMP.

About Me

I have just completed my fourth year at Queen's University. I expect to complete my degree in Electrical Engineering in April 2009. I can be contacted at

Outside of school, I am very active in the Queen's chapter of Women in Science and Engineering (WISE). I have been on the executive committee of WISE for the past three years. I also organised Engineering and Science Day, a twice-annual event which invites girls in grades 4-9 from across Ontario to Queen's to learn about science and engineering. Further information about the event can be found at www.engsciday.ca.
