CRA Conference at Snowbird 2002

July 14-16, 2002
Snowbird, Utah

The flagship conference for academic and research laboratory
administrators interested in computing research issues.

The biennial CRA Conference at Snowbird brings together the chairs of Ph.D.-granting departments of computer science and computer engineering, as well as leaders from U.S. industrial and government computing research laboratories. A number of other senior people from research groups, government, academia, and professional societies also attended. It was a relatively small (250 people) but very influential group. The goal of the conference was to provide a context in which attendees could discuss practical and strategic issues facing their organizations. This opportunity to network with peers was one of the most valuable aspects of the conference.
