questions in both cognitive science and technology that will drive our
understanding of how virtual learning environments can be used to radically
transform Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning?

What are the potential benefits and pitfalls with virtual
learning environments, from both the cognitive and technological
perspective?

What are the most exciting possibilities for virtual
learning environments to enhance STEM learning over the next five years?

Considering advances in both technology and cognitive
