Assistant Professor Position
School of Science, Engineering and Technology, invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Computer Science effective Fall Semester 2008. The successful candidate will have experience and research interest in database design, data mining, and/or bioinformatics. Candidates will be evaluated on teaching and research potential. Ph.D. in Computer Science is required. Faculty are expected to teach courses for the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science, pursue scholarly research and publication, contribute to curriculum development, participate in University and professional service activities, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and serve on graduate level degree committees.
