Sketch Research Scientist
Adapx, a venture-backed software startup with significant expertise in natural human-computer interaction, seeks a talented sketch recognition researcher interested in influencing and contributing to cutting edge products in order to enhance its offering of field data collection software based on mobile digital pen and paper solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop sketch recognition methodologies, based on template and/or corpus-based statistical techniques;
• Develop higher-level sketch understanding and visual language technology, using hybrid statistical/symbolic techniques.
Applicants must have a strong background in Sketch, Gesture, and/or Handwriting Recognition. PhD preferred, or an MS in Computer Science or a related field plus 3+ years of industry or equivalent experience.
