Chair in Embedded Systems

The Department of Information Technology, Uppsala University, invites applications for a Position as Chaired Professor in the area of Embedded Systems. The focus of the position is on embedded systems design, especially concerning aspects of relevance for software. The successful candidate will develop and lead a strong program of research and teaching on embedded systems.

The position is placed in the Division of Computer Systems. Research at the division includes computer architecture, computer networks, real time and embedded systems, formal specification and verification, and pedagogic methods for computer science education. More information at:

We expect strong candidates to have an excellent scientific track record, leadership and management qualities, a strong vision on future development of the field, and very good teaching skills.
