Congressional Report on Women and Minorities in Science, Engineering and Technology

"The Congressional Commission on the Advancement of Women and Minorities in Science, Engineering and Technology Development (CAWMSET) spent over a year examining the barriers that exist for women, underrepresented minorities, and persons with disabilities at different stages of the science, engineering, and technology pipeline." The result, Land of Plenty: Diversity as America's Competitive Edge in Science, Engineering and Technology, makes recommendations on issues that include precollege education, access to higher education, professional life, public image, and nationwide accountability.
