  The breakout groups will discuss the relationship between research the participants want to run/test on GENI and the design of the GENI facility to enable that research. The topics are research areas and associated with these topics are what part of the facility is most critical for that research. Each breakout session should plan to talk about the entire GENI design as relevant.
 
  • Distributed Systems and Applications -- Facility Design for Research at the Top of the Design Stack (Marshall)
  • Optical Networks, Measurement, Real-time issues -- Facility Design at the Core and its Reach into the Edges (Douglas)
  • Wireless and Sensor Networks -- Facility Design at the Edges and its Reach into the Core (Salon B & C)
  • Protocols and Architectures -- End-to-End Facility Design (Salon A)
  • Security -- Overall Facility Design (The Gallery)
